Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd reveals secret about his Instagram DMs

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has shared a secret about some of the direct messages he receives on his social media channels, with the actor revealing that he often takes time to respond to fans.
Speaking to co-stars Colson Smith and Ben Price on their On The Sofa podcast, Shepherd confirmed that he always responds when fans send him a DM.
"Now, what people might not realise about this is you answer your DMs," said Price, who plays Nick Tilsley. Smith, who played Craig Tinker prior to his departure last year, added: "He replies to everyone pretty much."

"Pretty much. I like to, if there's some sort of substance to whatever the message is," said Shepherd, before he elaborated by saying that he would often answer "direct questions" from followers.
Going through some of their Instagram messages, Price read some aloud, confirming that Shepherd had replied to them, and he then read some of his responses.
While it's not clear if they were reading messages from the podcast's Instagram page or Shepherd's personal account, Price said that he answered every email to the podcast in the same way that Shepherd "answers his DMs".
Earlier today, Shepherd appeared on Good Morning Britain alongside his on-screen wife Julia Goulding, with presenter Richard Arnold referencing Shepherd's hair transplant as he dubbed it a "cheeky little glow-up".
"I got a hair transplant three months back, so we're halfway through, so hopefully at Christmas time I'll be Elvis!" Shepherd quipped.
Earlier this year, Shepherd discussed his hair transplant with Price and Smith, saying on the podcast: "This is my third one. So most people are thinking, 'I thought you'd just get one hair transplant and then it's Elvis'."

"But that's not the case, apparently, because baldness still progresses as time goes on. So I had one in 2018, 2019, and now. So I've had it all done mainly on the front sections."
"I could see it, I could see it further back in the middle. I could see it going in. So it was sort of act now while I could and I had a bit of time off for the baby, so it was perfect," he added.
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
