Oasis 2027 tour: The three best venue options for Londoners

Translate

Oasis have just announced their upcoming 2027 tour dates, with locations confirmed in the UK, Europe and America; however, London did not get a look-in.

The 38-date live tour running from May to September will see the iconic Britpop group perform at iconic venues in Scotland and Manchester, all the way to Las Vegas.

Their last tour, the “Live 25” reunion tour, included five sell-out shows at Wembley Stadium, with two additional shows at the national stadium added due to high demand.

Luckily, hope is not lost as other venues in and around the UK could provide great alternatives to see the iconic Britpop band - though you will have to travel.

All hopeful ticket holders will have to choose up to three venues they would be willing to attend if successful, in order of preference.

Here is our take on the best three options you should consider when applying for tickets.

Knebworth

How to get there?

The band are set to perform a four-night residency to conclude the tour in September, 31 years after they played historic two nights at the Hertfordshire venue in 1996.

Train travel is most likely the easiest way to get there. From London King’s Cross, you can reach Knebworth station in any time between 21 to 40 minutes.

They run from King’s Cross every 30 minutes and typically last 37-40 minutes, however there are some faster services that last 21 minutes. Off-peak singles are currently priced at £8.30, whilst a return costs £16.60.

If you want to avoid the train, driving is of course an option, though distance and traffic would hugely vary journey time. Not to mention if you wanted to drink, this would take this option off the list.

From central London, it is approximately 30 miles if you take the A1, with an estimated journey time of 1 hour and 17 minutes. Other slightly longer routes include going via the M25 or the A10.

Where to stay?

As of 5.00pm on Wednesday, September 16, the nearest available hotel room advertised on booking.com on Saturday 11 September, 2027, was the Pear Tree Inn, in Welwyn Garden City, more than five miles from Knebworth House, at £395 for one person.

Other currently available options include EasyStay in Luton, The Red Lion in Offley and Yurting at Hertford Farm, though rooms appear to be limited and prices are on the up.

The Oasis band is understandably performing their longest run of shows in their hometown, playing at the iconic Etihad Stadium, home to their beloved Manchester City.

The 11-night run of shows provides an ample amount of opportunities to see the band live, though securing a ticket still won’t be easy.

Getting from London to Manchester is quick and easy - if you plan ahead!

The most popular method would be to get the train, with services running from London Euston station to Manchester Piccadilly station in just over two hours.

Prices vary hugely depending on timings and when you book, so book as early as you can. On the Trainline website, you are unable to book further ahead than March currently, six months ahead.

It is worth looking again in December to check when ticket options are available.

If speed isn’t the priority and savings is, getting the coach could be for you. From London Victoria Coach Station, you can get to Manchester Coach Station in approximately four to six hours.

Tickets start at just £5, though can and will increase depending on timings and demand. The most popular providers are National Express and FlixBus.

And of course, driving is also an option, perhaps a good one if you’re planning to spend a couple of days in Manchester and have luggage to haul.

Depending on where you’re driving from, it’s approximately a 200-mile (320km) journey, with a drive time of approximately four to five hours, depending on traffic, of course.

Where to stay?

As Manchester is a city compared to the village that is Knebworth, there are a lot more options - though this doesn’t mean there will be forever.

As of writing on 5.00pm on Wednesday, September 16, there are a range of options for Friday, 4 June, 2027 on Booking.com, with the cheapest option appearing to be a bunk in an eight-bed dormitory room at Malacuna Manchester.

The average price tag on a home coming on the market nosedived by more than £7,000 in August, according to figures from a property website. Rightmove has also downgraded its house price forecast for 2026 from a 2% increase to a change of between zero and a 2% fall in average new seller asking prices over the year as a whole. Issue date: Monday August 17, 2026.

For a hotel stay, rooms at INNSiDE by Lemia Manchester start from £330, with the average price for a one-night, one person stay costing around the same at various different hotels.

Paris

When are the Paris shows?

How to get to Paris?

If you’re up for venturing out of the UK to see Oasis, Paris is both the closest and the most practical.

Whilst their two-night run at State de France is short and sweet, meaning fewer options to grab tickets, bagging a ticket here could present the perfect opportunity to have yourself a weekend away.

Travelling on the Eurostar gets you into Paris in just under three hours, and you can take the train from London St Pancras.

Tickets, of course, vary, however, they are often not as expensive as you think, with Eurostar often running sales.

Though remember, whilst the train itself is speedy, you will have to get to St Pancras between 45 minutes to 90 minutes to go through security checks.

Alternatively, you could fly, with all major London airports, bar London City Airport, offering direct flights.

As of writing, a return flight leaving on the Friday and returning on the Sunday costs £178.

Where to stay?

Like Manchester, Paris is full of options, and it is already looking a little cheaper to stay there.

As of writing on 5.00pm on Wednesday, September 16, there are a range of options for Friday, July 23 until Sunday, July 25 on Booking.com, with two nights at the Hotel Leonard De Vince 75011 costing £136.

Currently, many of the options still seem to have good availability. However, it is worth noting that the two shows fall during the school holidays, so there could be extra demand from families holidaying at the same times.
