Traitors star first celeb confirmed for Gogglebox Stand Up to Cancer special

Joe Lycett may have been banished from The Celebrity Traitors before his dream of playing for the baddies' team came true, but he is the first person announced for this year's Gogglebox Stand Up to Cancer special.
Channel 4's fundraiser has long had special Gogglebox episodes in which celebrities appear alongside the regulars participants, even when Celebrity Gogglebox has become its own spin-off show.
This Friday (23 October), Joe will be appearing on the fan-favourite show, and he's brought along some friends... well, family.

Joe's aunties Pauline and Margaret, who starred on Late Night Lycett and current feature on The Lycett Arms, will be joining him on the sofa.
The duo have become social media famous, and even made a bet with their nephew that if they amassed a certain amount of Instagram followers by a certain date, he'd have to attend the BAFTA TV Awards dressed as Queen Elizabeth I. He lost.
In a clip shared to social platforms, Joe and his aunties said that they were "watching a lot of TV and eating chocolate".
We'll get to see what they think of the latest telly when the episode airs in just a few days, and we're sure to get even more celebrity announcements between now and then.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Lycett would be one of the stars leading a performance of experimental play White Rabbit Red Rabbit in London's West End.
Each Monday until 14 December, a different star will lead the cast in the Duchess Theatre. Nish Kumar's performance is today, while Lycett will be seen in the play on 2 November.
The Gogglebox special will air as part of Stand Up to Cancer this Friday (23 October).
