'Dungeon Crawler Carl: I Will Kill Your Mother' Officially Announced

First introduced in The Gate of the Feral Gods, Samantha (aka Psamathe) is one of Dungeon Crawler Carl's most... unique characters in the entire series. And considering the sheer number of bizarre characters Matt Dinniman has introduced throughout the books, that's saying something.
Technically, Samantha is a minor goddess of unrequited love who was banished to the Nothing after running afoul of her divine family. In practice, she's the disembodied head of a sex doll, possessed by the spirit of an ancient deity and somehow capable of causing an insane amount of trouble despite lacking, well, a body.
After joining Carl and Princess Donut's motley crew, Samantha quickly became a fan-favorite thanks to her foul mouth, violent imagination, and surprisingly fierce loyalty to the group. She's also responsible for one of the series' most recognizable catchphrases, "I will kill your mother!" It's a hilariously unhinged threat, even by Dungeon Crawler Carl standards, and now fans are getting a new release dedicated to Samantha and her signature catchphrase, available later this month.

Renegade Game Studios is giving Dungeon Crawler Carl fans an absolutely unhinged way to celebrate Samantha and her hilariously terrifying signature shout, with the officially licensed "I Will Kill Your Mother" dice tray. Intended for the upcoming RPG release, it features the disembodied goddess screaming her trademark catchphrase across the interior, ensuring that every dice roll comes with the appropriate amount of murderous enthusiasm.
The tray has a brown faux-leather exterior with a metallic foil logo and a magnetic design that snaps into shape for play and folds flat for storage, and it can technically be used for any dice-rolling game, though it's a must-have if you plan on diving into the World Dungeon yourself later this year. It measures 8.25 by 10.75 inches flat, with roughly one-inch walls when assembled.
Originally offered as a $20 add-on and included in select premium pledge tiers during the franchise's hugely successful BackerKit campaign, it was designated a Renegade exclusive rather than a regular retail product. However, it appears some local retailers such as Gamers Guild AZ currently have the tray available for $20 preorder, with expected October 2026 availability.
Samantha is also getting a matching full-color, die-cut sticker, roughly 2 by 4 inches, depicting her yelling "If you don't play the game, I'll kill your mother!" Unlike the tray, the sticker was one of the campaign's original stretch-goal rewards, added free to physical pledges and previously offered separately for $5, though it's sure to be available in local stores or for resale online if you're lucky or know where to look.
The official Dungeon Crawler Carl Roleplaying Game lets groups enter the deadly, intergalactic spectacle of the World Dungeon as familiar characters or individually designed custom crawlers of their own. Players will fight various monsters, open all sorts of loot boxes, earn achievements, and try to keep the System AI and the show's audience entertained as they try to make their descent.
Its Starter Set covers tutorial Floors 1 and 2, while the 300-plus-page Core Rulebook expands gameplay to Floors 3 through 5, where character customization opens up with races and classes, with more floors planned in the future. The campaign raised more than $13.2 million, and fulfillment has already begun for backers. Renegade has confirmed a November 23, 2026 retail launch for both the RPG and Dungeon Crawler Carl: Unstoppable, a separate solo/cooperative card-crafting deck-building game.
For Samantha fans, however, the dice tray and sticker might be the most amusingly inappropriate tabletop accessories of the bunch, and will take their upcoming Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG experience to the next level.
