Druski was announced as a season 52 host for Saturday Night Live on Thursday (Oct. 22), and plenty of his hip-hop friends showed him love for the trailblazing feat.

Among those sending Druski congratulatory messages were Drake, Travis Scott, Quavo, Wheezy and Reese LaFlare.

“So f—king proud,” Drizzy wrote in Druski’s IG comments in the post announcing his upcoming hosting gig. Quavo added: “That boy good!”

Fans can expect Travis Scott to be in attendance come Nov. 7 when Druski takes over Rockefeller Center’s Studio 8H in Midtown Manhattan.

“N—A WE MADE IT,” a hyped La Flame wrote. “I WILL BE THERE. !!!? CANT MISS THIS.” Scott also reposted Druski’s hosting gig on his IG Story. “What ever u doing on the 7th you gotta be tapped in,” he wrote.

Continuing his meteoric and unique rise in entertainment, Druski — who graced one of Billboard’s 2025 covers — will be the first-ever digital content creator to host SNL in the show’s history. The Strokes will perform as the musical guest on Nov. 7.

In a rare candid interview with The Diary of a CEO in September, Druski opened up about his childhood and journey as an internet comedian, which saw him credit Drake with changing his trajectory after casting him in one of the rapper’s videos in 2020.

“The thing that changed my life at the time was Drake calling for the ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ music video. Everything shifted after that because brands started to take me seriously,” he explained. “Now it’s transactional with everything.”

Druski continued: “Once I was seen with Drake, Lil Durk, we had Marshawn Lynch, Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr. all in this video alongside me. Me being the comedic relief in this video, which was called ‘Laugh Now, Cry Later,’ this meant a lot more than another music video.”

Season 52 of SNL is slated to resume on Halloween with Obsession actress Inde Navarrette hosting and Gracie Abrams performing. Following Druski’s episode, John Mulaney will play host on Nov. 14 with Phoebe Bridgers serving as the musical guest.
