Ghosty’s Diner
At this family-run, American-inspired diner, staff are filling baskets with spicy maple-glazed fried chicken and stacking cheeseburgers on squishy buns, both staples on the all-day menu. Mornings are about fat stacks of buttermilk pancakes and creative sandwiches.
The lengthy list of things between bread also includes pastrami sangas on rye, with beef that’s brined and smoked by Zaidys Deli Goods. Pair lagers from Collingwood’s Mill Brewery with deep-fried mozzarella sticks after work. Or just nab a comfy booth, get into the bottomless drip coffee and have your Twin Peaks moment.
Best for: Dusty brunches and greasy dinners.
