Game 7 of the WNBA Finals was the most-watched broadcast in the history of the league’s playoffs, the WNBA announced on Tuesday.

3.3 million viewers tuned in for the Golden State Valkyries’ 68-63 victory over the Atlanta Dream on Oct. 31, the first-ever Game 7 in the league’s history.

That number was a 128% improvement over the deciding game of the 2025 Finals, Las Vegas vs. Phoenix (Game 4).

The contest, airing on USA Network, CNBC and Peacock, was the most-watched game for the WNBA on cable or streaming.

“Game 7 put an exclamation point on USA Sports’ incredible first season as a WNBA media partner, as our coverage set new viewership records and connected more fans with the game,” USA Sports President Matt Hong said.

“Our 2026 WNBA coverage is the latest example of USA Sports’ ability to draw large, diverse audiences on multiple TV and digital platforms and underscores our role as a home for top-tier sports properties.”

The game was the second-most-watched WNBA game on any platform since 1997 and the fourth-most-watched game ever.
