Meet the TechPulse App: News and Video, Created and Curated by Real People

Earlier this year, we relaunched CNET’s tech news team and now we’re releasing an app to make news even bigger and more accessible. I’m excited to announce TechPulse, which replaces the venerable CNET app with an all-new experience. Our goal is to satisfy your thirst for real tech journalism.
We are a primary source for not only breaking tech news, but also videos, reviews, live events, commentaries and more. The new app integrates that content from CNET, as well as from other brands owned by our parent company Ziff Davis, including PCMag, Mashable, ZDNET and Lifehacker.
Unlike the mindless feeds on other apps driven by a robot algorithm, the main page you’ll see on TechPulse is curated by a human (you!). Its customizable dashboard lets you choose exactly what your TechPulse feed includes.
More from CNET
Only interested in content from CNET? No problem; our powerful filters let you specify the brands you want to see. You can add or remove PCMag, Mashable and others quickly and easily.
Only want to see videos? TechPulse lets you filter out the written articles. Only want writing because you don’t care about video? We can do that, too.
The result is less noise, more news.
We developed TechPulse from the ground up based on consumer research. Earlier this year I commissioned a study to find out what CNET readers want from news coverage. We found that folks trust news reports and videos backed by hands-on testing and reviews. Tech fans are fed up with misinformation, complexity and wishy-washy advice.
If you are too, I encourage you to head to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download TechPulse today.
