Monday’s reports claim that Warren Bondo is set to return to training with the Milan first-team group after rejecting a recent proposal to terminate his contract given that he is firmly out of the club’s plans under Ruben Amorim.
Report: Bondo rejects Milan contract termination and is set to return to training
Bondo joined Milan at the end of the winter transfer window in 2025 during the short-lived reign of Sergio Conceicao as head coach of the Rossoneri. He has only made four top-flight appearances for Milan since then, having spent the 2025-26 season out on loan with Cremonese.

Bondo returned to Milan over the summer, but failed to impress under Amorim during pre-season and was left off the club’s Serie A and Europa League squad lists, meaning that he is not currently eligible to feature in either competition.
He was one of several players that were placed up for sale during the summer transfer window, but a solution for his exit was not found before the deadline.
According to Monday’s reports from Matteo Moretto, Milan have recently sought to terminate Bondo’s contract, which runs until the summer of 2029, but an agreement was not reached. They will try again to move the 23-year-old during the January transfer window.

Until then, Bondo is set to return to training with the first-team group at Milan, as is his right as a contracted first-team player, but will be unable to feature for the club in either Serie A or the Europa League.
