Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued an emergency appeal to his supporters, urging them to vote for the Likud party and warning against what he described as attempts to steal the election.

In a live broadcast, Netanyahu said : “Vote for the Likud party—this is an emergency appeal —because there are attempts to steal our election.”

Netanyahu addressed an announcement by the Israeli police regarding the arrest of three individuals in southern Israel—described by him as senior financial officials within the United Arab List—who were found in possession of envelopes containing cash.

He characterized the incident as a “criminal matter.”

Netanyahu added a warning: “They will come for each and every one of you—I have warned you.” Pointing to higher voter turnout rates among the Arab community in the south compared to the Jewish community, he urged his own supporters to head to the polls.
