Jericho Rosales, Ashtine Olviga, ‘Manila’s Finest’ lead 2026 MIFF winners
Jericho Rosales and Ashtine Olviga won the top acting honors, while “Manila’s Finest” emerged as the best picture narrative awardee at the 2026 Manila International Film Festival.
The awards were presented during the Closing Night Awards Gala held on Sunday, Sept. 6 (Monday, Sept. 7 in the Philippines), at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Rosales bagged the best actor accolade for his performance in “Quezon,” while Olviga was lauded for her portrayal of Agnes Magtibay in “Manila’s Finest.”

The documentary film “58th” also won big with the best picture documentary accolade as well as the best director award for Carl Joseph Papa.
