Days after his engagement to Chrisean Rock fell apart, Blueface has turned his attention back to Nevaeh Akira. The rapper and Kick streamer showed screenshots of direct messages he says came from his ex, showing her messaging his phone again and again and asking to come back. Blueface made it clear he is not interested, saying he is no longer settling for less. Nevaeh Akira has not responded, and she has only recently said she felt "set free" after their split.

Blueface posts the messages he says came from Nevaeh Akira

The screenshots show a long run of messages, one after another, with Nevaeh Akira pushing to be let back into his life. Blueface shared them himself, putting a private conversation out in public.

Only one side of the story has been put out so far. Nevaeh Akira has not confirmed the messages are hers, when she sent them, or what led up to them. The timing is hard to miss. Blueface proposed to Chrisean Rock at a club in Scottsdale, Arizona, on October 11, and the engagement was over about 10 days later.

Blueface says he will not settle anymore

Blueface's message alongside the DMs was simple: he is done settling for less. That is a sharp turn from what he told his Kick viewers only days earlier, while confirming his split from Chrisean Rock.

"At some point, I'm going to have to settle for a b*tch. It's either that or be gay at this point," he said then, before adding: "I ain't gay, so I'ma just settle." In the same stream, Blueface also called himself "Mr. Abandon a B*tch," a line many viewers took as a shot at both Chrisean Rock and Nevaeh Akira.

Nevaeh Akira has said she is done with Blueface

Nevaeh Akira's own public comments point the other way. After their breakup, she told followers she was single, and on a later stream she explained how it ended: "The man literally told me to get out."

The two share a young son, and they were seen together on a stream with him in September. Even then, Nevaeh Akira made a point of saying she was not getting back with Blueface. Their split followed a trust dispute after Nevaeh Akira admitted that a tattoo she had said was a portrait of Blueface was actually of another rapper. She has not commented on the DMs he showed in his recent stream, and Blueface has not shared her side of the conversation beyond the screenshots.
