West Indies batter Justin Greaves was ruled out of the third and final ODI against India at the PCA International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Friday.

Greaves was sidelined for the second ODI in Guwahati as well due to a calf injury and hasn’t recovered yet.

The swashbuckling opening batter hit 101 off 108 balls in the series opener in Thiruvananthapuram, his first ODI century. However, the Caribbean team lost the game by eight wickets.

After the ODI series, India and West Indies will play five T20Is starting October 6. Greaves, however, isn’t part of the T20I squad and is expected to return home.
