In Sendee Salvacio’s report for GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon on Monday, the victims left their valuables on the third floor of a building in Barangay IV while they took their break on the floor above.

CCTV camera footage showed the suspect enter the building and climb up. After a few minutes, he was seen going down and immediately left as if nothing happened.

Afterwards, the workers soon discovered that their cellphones and money were missing.

One worker said his co-workers were upset. In all, two cellphones and P1,500 were stolen.

A few days after the theft, the owner of the building posted a photo of the suspect in hopes he could be caught.

According to the owner, he received messages where the senders said they were also a victim of the suspect and gave his name.

The building’s owner turned shared the information to police and the barangay.

According to Barangay Chairman Alfonzo Zabala Jr., they will study the video of the incident. Police said the investigation is ongoing. —RF, GMA News
