Comedian Juston McKinney Dates Sixth One-Hour Special ‘It’s The Little Things’

EXCLUSIVE: Veteran New England comic Juston McKinney has announced that he’ll release his sixth one-hour special, It’s the Little Things, on YouTube at 7:30pm ET on November 23.
Directed by Jason Katz, McKinney’s new hour turns the everyday frustrations of middle age into a self-deprecating romp, reflecting on marriage, parenting and suburban life. He mines both difficult and mundane moments as he riffs on rising costs, his 30-year marriage, his teenage boys — who ignore his texts, while tracking his every move — and the seemingly impossible task of taking a nap without being judged.
At its heart, the special is about a husband and father who loves his family, even if he would also really appreciate a little privacy, some cooperation and half an hour of sleep. McKinney filmed the hour in front of a sold-out crowd at The Palace Theatre in Manchester, England. Check out a trailer by clicking above.
McKinney began his stand-up career in the late ’90s when he relocated to New York City from rural Maine, where he was working as a Deputy Sheriff. He became a regular on the NYC club scene shortly thereafter. With It’s the Little Thing, he follows up his 2022 special On the Bright Side, which has racked up over 1.4 million views to date on YouTube.
Katz & Ryan Devir produced the special for 2 Buffoons, alongside James Roach and McKinney, with Adam Gold and Brian Stern of AGI Entertainment Media and Management exec producing. The comic is repped by Justin Gorkowitz of Polar Agency as well as AGI.
