(Asiad) S. Korea ends worst table tennis campaign with 3 bronze medals
NAGOYA, Japan, Sept. 26 (Yonhap) -- South Korea ended its least productive Asian Games table tennis campaign Saturday with all singles and doubles players failing to get into medal contention in Japan.
South Korea is leaving the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games with three bronze medals -- from the men's and the women's team events, and the mixed doubles.
Since table tennis was added to the Asian Games in 1958, this was the first time South Korea did not win at least a silver medal.

In the women's singles Saturday, Shin Yu-bin and Joo Cheon-hui both lost in the quarterfinals.
In the doubles, Shin and Joo blew a 2-1 lead and lost 3-2 (11-8, 9-11, 7-11, 11-4, 12-10) to Suthasini Sawettabut and Orawan Paranang of Thailand in the quarterfinals.
In the men's doubles, Oh Jun-sung and Lim Jong-hoon were eliminated in the quarterfinals, too.
Jang Woo-jin was eliminated in the round of 16 in the men's singles, following a 4-0 loss to Feng Yi-hsin of Chinese Taipei 4-0 (11-7, 11-6, 11-7, 11-8).
