This isn’t the designer’s first guitar venture, either. Before the 2026 Fender partnership, the designer teamed up with Vintage Guitars in 2009 and 2011 to release limited-edition purple travel and acoustic guitars. Now, the design house brings its signature stripes and colors to a Telecaster and guitar accessories, while Fender makes its way into the brand’s sartorial offerings.

About Paul Smith
Paul Smith is a British designer fashion house founded in 1970, known for combining classic British tailoring with bold colours, playful prints and its signature multicoloured stripes. Positioned in the premium designer market, its pricing ranges from relatively accessible accessories and smaller gifts to expensive tailored clothing, leather goods and outerwear, making it more affordable at entry level than at the luxury end. The brand offers menswear, womenswear, footwear, bags, wallets, belts, scarves, jewellery, watches, fragrances and eyewear, alongside selected homeware and lifestyle products. Although British in origin and design identity, its products are manufactured internationally, with production locations varying by product and collection.
About Fender
Founded in California in 1946 by Leo Fender, Fender began as a small business specialising in radio repairs and amplifier construction before becoming a pioneer in electric guitar design. The company introduced the Telecaster in 1951 and the Stratocaster in 1954, instruments that went on to influence the sound of rock, blues, country and pop music. Fender also helped transform live music with the Precision Bass, launched in 1951 as one of the first widely successful electric bass guitars. Today, Fender produces electric and acoustic guitars, basses, amplifiers, pedals and accessories, serving everyone from beginners to professional musicians while continuing to evolve its designs and musical technology.
