Jalen McMillan has MRI on left knee

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan (knee) had an MRI on his left knee, a source said Monday, Sept. 28, after aggravating his injury in the Week 3 loss against the Minnesota Vikings.
McMillan originally suffered a left knee injury during training camp, and it was an aggravation of that pre-existing injury, and not a new ailment. The team is awaiting a second opinion.

Why it Matters: McMillan, the team's third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, racked up 58 receptions for 461 yards and eight touchdowns in his rookie season in 13 games. However, he was limited to four games last season, making just 15 grabs for 178 yards with no scores, and he has not recorded a catch in two games this season with just one target. It might take an injury or two elsewhere for McMillan to scoot up the depth chart, and he must first be healthy to take advantage of that.
