EXCLUSIVE: Kate O’Flynn, the Emmy-winning Widow’s Bay breakout, is among three new additions to Universal’s new holiday comedy, Naughty, starring Jennifer Aniston and Peter Dinklage. BAFTA winner Jamie Demetriou (The Moment) and Dexter Sol Ansell (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms) are also set.

Character details for the trio are being kept under wraps.

Directed by Olivia Wilde as her follow-up to the lauded A24 drama The Invite, Naughty follows Mallory (Aniston), whose only hope of securing custody of her son from her gaslighting trash-bag ex is to find Santa Claus (Dinklage) and convince him to testify in her divorce hearing.

The film, written by Cocaine Bear‘s Jimmy Warden, releases in theaters on November 5, 2027. The Studio‘s Chase Sui Wonders and Ike Barinholtz also star, along with Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Kate Berlant and John Early.

LuckyChap is producing alongside Wilde and Warden, with Executive Vice President of Production Development Sara Scott and Director of Production Development Jacqueline Garell overseeing the project for Universal.

O’Flynn won her first Emmy this fall for her memorable supporting turn as Patricia, the hardworking, socially awkward assistant to Matthew Rhys’ cursed-island mayor, in Apple TV’s horror comedy Widow’s Bay. Created by Katie Dippold, the show was the most-nominated this year among freshman series, set a record for the most Emmys won by a comedy series in a single season with 14, including Outstanding Comedy Series, and has been renewed for a second season. Upcoming, O’Flynn will be seen in Tender Loving Care, marking her fourth collaboration with Mike Leigh and her first time at the center of one of his films, which premiered at Telluride and releases in the U.S. via Bleecker Street on December 4. She also stars opposite Cate Blanchett and Spike Fearn in Sweetsick, an upcoming Searchlight Pictures drama from Alice Birch. She is repped by Conway van Gelder Grant and Entertainment 360.

An English comedian, actor and screenwriter, Demetriou is best known for creating, co-writing and starring in Stath Lets Flats for Channel 4/HBO Max. He recently appeared in Charli xcx’s A24 film The Moment and hosted Saturday Night Live UK just last month. Upcoming, he’ll be seen in Netflix’s Pride and Prejudice miniseries written by Dolly Alderton, Only Murders in the Building Season 6 and FX’s video game anthology series Far Cry from Noah Hawley and Rob Mac. He is repped by United Agents, CAA and Multitude Media.

Ansell is a 12-year-old actor best known for starring as Prince Aegon “Egg” Targaryen in HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. He previously played Young Coriolanus in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and also appeared in Robert Zemeckis’ Here starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. He is repped by WME and Independent Talent Group.
