Raye announces special ‘This Symphony May Contain Hope’ London Royal Albert Hall show

Raye has announced a special one off show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, which will see her reimagine her album ‘This Music May Contain Hope’ with an orchestra.
The gig is titled ‘This Symphony May Contain Hope’ and will be held at the historic venue in South Kensington on Friday October 23.
At the show, the London singer will play her critically acclaimed sophomore album in full, reimagining each of the songs as a symphony. She will play alongside her band, The Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective, and present hit songs including ‘Where Is My Husband!’ and ‘Click Clack Symphony’ in a new way.
To celebrate the album announcement, the singer today (Friday October 9) presents a new orchestral rendition of album track “I Will Overcome’ as a taster of what is yet to come at the one-off Royal Albert Hall gig.

It was recorded at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra, and is available to check out below. Tickets for the gig go on sale on Thursday (October 15) at 10am, and pre-sale options kick off on Tuesday (October 13). Visit here for tickets.
The upcoming show will mark the second time that Raye has presented her songs in this way – following a one-night-only performance at the Royal Albert Hall, backed by the 50-piece Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective in 2023.
That performance saw her play songs from ‘My 21st Century Blues’ with a symphony reimagining, and it was also filmed for the music film Live At The Royal Albert Hall. That release was broadcast on BBC and PBS, and also nominated for Best Music Film at the 68th Grammys.
Following the huge praise for that show, RAYE then brought her ‘My 21st Century Symphony’ shows to The O2 for a sold-out gig in 2024, where she was also joined by the Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective.
The new show will take place on the heels of RAYE performing at the 2026 MTV VMAs at the end of last month – joining Sombr and Teddy Swims for a tribute to George Michael – and also playing huge headline sets at this year’s edition of Reading & Leeds.
Earlier this summer, she brought out Alicia Keys and Mark Ronson during a special performance marking the 60th anniversary of Montreux Jazz Festival. Ronson joined her for ‘Uptown Funk’ and their collaboration ‘Suzanne’, while Keys performed ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ and ‘Oscar Winning Tears’ with her.
Outside music, RAYE is also set to make her acting debut in Yann Demange’s crime thriller Lineage, which also stars Jason Bateman and Jude Law.
