KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 4 — Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman capped off his “last run before marriage” with a cheeky social media post — and fiancée Bella Astillah waiting proudly at the finish line.

The 33-year-old politician, who will wed the 32-year-old actress singer on October 10 at Merdeka 118, joined thousands of runners at the Asics Half Marathon early this morning.

Saddiq clocked a personal best of 1 hour 38 minutes, later sharing a video of his finish set to Lady Gaga’s Telephone chorus.

“Last run before the wedding. Luckily I managed a personal best. Thank you @bellaastillah for patiently waiting,” he wrote in his post.

Bella, dressed casually in jeans and a cap, was seen waiting at the finish line.

The post drew warm reactions, with fans congratulating the couple as their wedding day nears.

The couple on Friday announced two public wedding receptions — themed Kenduri Rakyat — to be held in Muar, Johor, on October 25 and in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, on October 31.
