Juventus have proposed a share capital increase of up to €250m, with majority shareholder Exor putting in €60m straight away.

According to their financial statements, the board will ask shareholders on November 3 to grant it a mandate under Article 2443 of the Italian Civil Code, allowing a paid-in capital increase in one or more tranches up to that maximum, including any premium. The mandate is expected to be exercised in whole or in part by the end of 2026, market conditions permitting, through a rights offering to existing shareholders.

Exor commits pro-rata and offers to cover the rest for Juventus

Exor, which holds 65.4 per cent of Juventus, has said it supports the operation up to full coverage, will subscribe its own portion pro-rata, and is willing to underwrite any shares not taken up by other shareholders or third parties.

At the club’s request, it has also confirmed an immediate payment of €60m towards the future increase, strengthening the equity position while the process runs. That sum counts as an advance on Exor’s own share.

Juventus say the money is needed for sporting competitiveness, potential upgrades to strategic real estate, the Allianz Stadium above all, brand development and compliance with UEFA and FIGC financial parameters. Requirements for this financial year and the next are put at roughly 45 to 50 per cent of the mandate’s total value.

The context explains the urgency as consolidated equity stood at just €11.5m at 30 June 2026, down from €13.2m, and this follows a €97.8m capital increase completed in November 2025.
