KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 6 — The 2027 Budget, which will be tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in the Dewan Rakyat this Friday, has been brought forward to 3.30pm.

The matter was announced by Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat Datuk Seri Dr Ramli Mohd Nor.

He said a notification letter regarding the change in time had been circulated to the Members of Parliament.

“Among the important matters to be debated and considered during this sitting is Budget 2027, for which the second reading has been brought forward to 3:30 pm this Friday,” he said at the start of the Third Meeting of the Fifth Session of the 15th Parliament yesterday.

Previously, the Budget presentation began at 4pm.

Anwar, who is also finance minister, is set to table the fifth budget under the Madani Government. — Bernama
