West Indies has added Amir Jangoo to its T20I squad for the five-match series against India as a cover for the injured Jewel Andrew.

Andrew suffered a finger injury during the third ODI against India on October 3, while completing the catch of Naman Dhir.

The wicketkeeper-batter was taken up for a scan, which revealed no fracture. Andrew missed out on West Indies’ batting effort, which saw the side complete a record chase.

He will now remain under observation by the West Indies medical team and is not ruled out of the T20I series.
