The governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Tijani Galadima, has taken his campaign to Adamawa State indigenes holding political appointments in Abuja.
In a press statement issued on Friday, Galadima’s media aide, Adamu Sambo, said the meeting was an opportunity for the candidate to formally present his vision for the state, encapsulated in the “Adamawa Rising Agenda,” a development blueprint he described as his roadmap for building on the gains already recorded in the state, while introducing fresh ideas, policies and programmes capable of accelerating sustainable development and improving the lives of the people.
“Following the successful flag-off of his 2027 governorship campaign in Yola, the APC Governorship Candidate for Adamawa State, Ahmed Galadima Aminu, has taken his message of consultation, partnership and collective responsibility to Abuja, where he met with Federal Government appointees from Adamawa State.
“The Federal Government appointees subjected the blueprint to thorough scrutiny and constructive engagement, and expressed their appreciation for what they described as a well-thought-out and comprehensive development agenda with the potential to provide a clear direction for taking Adamawa State to the next level,” he said.
The statement said the appointees described the candidate’s decision to engage them, listen to their perspectives and seek their support, understanding and cooperation as a demonstration of humility, honour and respect, as well as a willingness to consult widely on issues that affect the collective interest of Adamawa State.
The statement read, “For Galadima, the engagement is about much more than seeking political support. It reflects his conviction that the task of building a greater Adamawa cannot be left to government alone.
“It requires the contributions, experience, expertise and goodwill of all stakeholders, whether at home or serving the nation at the federal level.”

The statement added that the engagement marked another step in the candidate’s commitment to building bridges, listening to diverse perspectives and forging a broad partnership for an Adamawa that is more prosperous, inclusive, peaceful and development-oriented.
“The message is simple: Adamawa Rising is a collective project, and everyone has a role to play,” Sambo said.
According to the statement, the federal appointees assured the candidate of their resolve to return to their constituencies and work assiduously not only for his victory but for all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
“At the meeting, the governorship candidate, Ahmed Galadima Aminu, appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Adamawa indigenes into key government positions at the federal level.”
Galadima described their appointments as not only a great honour to the state but also a fitting recognition of their outstanding record of service, dedication to national development and unwavering commitment to the growth of the APC.
The APC governorship candidate also commended Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for the unprecedented transformation of the state and sincerely thanked him for the confidence expressed in his capacity and competence to contribute to the next phase of Adamawa’s development.
