Grey's Anatomy season 23 release schedule: When is episode 2 out?

Grey's Anatomy returns for its 23rd season on ABC in the US and Disney+ in the UK, with the long-running medical drama plunging us right back into the chaos again.
Ellen Pompeo's Meredith Grey is back amid fresh emergencies and relationship turmoil, with the season rolling out weekly.
The premiere kicked off with a runway collision that flooded Grey Sloan with critically injured patients just as the hospital unveiled a controversial VIP wing. James Wolk's Seth Norton arrived as a profit-minded new chief of surgery who quickly clashed with Meredith – and there was even a surprise pregnancy for Simone and a job resignation. So, plenty of drama!
The new season follows on after the departures of Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd, two fan favourites who scrubbed out in the season 22 finale, with the new season boasting its own fresh crop of characters.
But when do new episodes get released? Read on to find out.
Episode 2, titled Slippin' and Slidin', airs in the US on Thursday 22 October 2026 at 10pm ET / 7pm PT on ABC. UK viewers can stream it on Disney+ from Friday 23 October 2026.
The season premiered on 15 October in the US and 16 October in the UK.
