KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his condolences to Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin on the passing of his mother, Mariam Kassim.
In a post on X today, Anwar said he and his wife, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, prayed that Hamzah and the entire family would be given the strength and fortitude to cope with the loss.
“May Allah SWT shower His mercy upon her soul, forgive her sins and place her among the righteous,” he said.
Salam takziah buat Ketua Pembangkang, Dato' Seri Hamzah Zainudin atas pemergian ibu tercinta, Allahyarhamah Hajah Mariam Kassim.
