Producer Ravi Shankar Yellamanchili recently addressed the release rumours and confirmed that 'Dragon' will release on June 11, 2027. Speaking at the pre-release event of Don’t Trouble The Trouble, as reported by Deccan Chronicle, the producer dismissed reports suggesting that the film could be pushed to a later date.

The speculation surfaced after Jr NTR suffered a hand injury and underwent surgery. The actor has reportedly been advised to take around six weeks of rest.

Despite the setback, the production schedule is said to be moving forward as planned.

Prashanth Neel continues 'Dragon' shoot during NTR’s recovery

While Jr NTR takes time to recover, Prashanth Neel is reportedly filming portions that do not involve the actor. These sequences were already part of the production plan and can be completed without NTR.

Once the actor returns to the sets, his portions will resume. The makers are reportedly aiming to complete the shoot before the end of 2026, giving the team several months to work on the extensive post-production. Given Prashanth Neel’s action-heavy filmmaking style, the film is expected to require substantial work in editing, visual effects, and other technical departments before its theatrical release.
