‘The Tonight Show’ Scores Four Sunday Night Slots

The Tonight Show will air four shows after NBC’s Sunday Night Football this season, in line with the four that it ran last year. This was up from only one in the 2024/25 season.
It will air shows after the Los Angeles Rams vs. Denver Broncos on September 27, after Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Chicago Bears on November 8, after Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals on November 15 and after the final regular season game on January 10.
Sylvester Stallone and Luke Bryan will be the guests on September 27.
Fallon returns from his summer hiatus this evening with guests Sandra Bullock and Beastie Boys’ Mike D. This week, he’ll also welcome Matthew McConaughey, Alix Earle, Riley Green after the season-opening NFL Kickoff game, a Super Bowl LX rematch between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, and Nicole Kidman, Domhnall Gleeson and Leon Bridges.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is produced by Universal Television and Broadway Video with Lorne Michaels as exec producer and Chris Miller as showrunner.
“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with NBC Sports again this year for these Sunday night episodes,” said Miller. “In the past year we’ve earned over 900M social views from our sports guests and coverage and are already on track to cross 1B views for this current year.”
