‘Pagans’ Casting Of Young Leads Opposite Steven Yeun Has Meta ‘Walking Dead’ Twist; Marin Ireland Also Joins Netflix Series

EXCLUSIVE: Netflix has set key cast opposite lead Steven Yeun in Pagans, its upcoming supernatural drama from Say Nothing creator Joshua Zetumer. Set for starring roles are Sabine Grace, Logan Kim, Marin Ireland and Intae Kim.
Pagans, a show that unearths darkest thoughts about family, follows a man, Gus (Yeun), who becomes the sole caretaker of his two children after the tragic loss of his wife. While his son Nate (Logan Kim) is typical, his daughter, Alice (Grace), is anything but. What starts as a strained father-daughter relationship soon evolves into something far more sinister.
Grace, in her television debut, will play Alice. The family’s black sheep, she keeps the world at arm’s length and lives largely in her own head.
Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Afterlife) will play Nate. Well-liked and dependable, Nate often feels like an afterthought at home having grown up in the shadow of his younger sister Alice.
This is the second time Kim will play Yeun’s son after portraying Hershel Rhee in The Walking Dead: Dead City. Hershel is Glenn (Yeun) and Maggie’s (Cohan) son who was born after Glenn’s death on the mothership series. Kien Michael Spiller played Hershel as a child on TWD, with Kim taking over the role as a teen on spinoff Dead City.
Ireland (Dope Thief, His & Hers) will play Janelle. A single mom doing her best to connect with her strong-willed 14-year-old daughter, Jade.
Intae Kim (Best Medicine, Succession) will play Casey, Gus’ (Yeun) younger brother. He shows up when his family needs a hand, even if no one says thank you.
Zetumer is executive producer and showrunner. Also executive producing are Goddard Textiles’ Drew Goddard and Sarah Esberg, Jonathan van Tulleken, Erica Kay and Celadon Pictures’ Yeun and Christina Oh.
