John Bradley hails Stephen Graham as a "one-off" as he teases their "beautiful" Netflix adaptation

Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint star John Bradley took time to heap praise on Stephen Graham while discussing their upcoming film, Ibelin.
The film tells the story of late disabled Norwegian gamer, Mats Steen, whose parents discover the enormous World of Warcraft legacy he's left behind after his passing, and is adapted from a Netflix documentary about Mats' life: The Remarkable Life of Ibelin.
At the London gala screening for Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint, Bradley described Ibelin as "a really beautiful movie" from "what [he's] seen."

"We only just finished a couple of months ago and it's based on a really beautiful Netflix documentary, I can't say any more than that.
"All I will say is there's something about films that are based on real people and real-life experiences, it just gets you emotionally in a way that a work of absolute fiction doesn't, and I think people are going to really love this one."
He went on to talk about working alongside Graham, describing it as "amazing".
"For somebody like me, who's Northern and working class, he's one of the most inspirational figures out there, just in terms of what he's achieved and the work that he continues to do and the projects that he picks. He's a total one-off and amazing to work with."

Mats himself will be portrayed by Charlie Plummer, with Maisy Stella, Isabela Merced, Bill Nighy, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Ivanna Sakhno and Ekow Quartey rounding out the cast.
As seen in the Netflix documentary, Steen was born with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which gradually saw him lose control of his limbs and spent a vast amount of time forging friendships through his World of Warcraft within the game.
