Woman dies after fall from south London tower block 'where family-of-three plunged to their deaths'


A woman has died after reportedly falling from a south London tower block just months after a family of three fell to their death at what is believed to be the same property.
The Metropolitan Police attended the incident in Elephant and Castle on Thursday morning following reports of a fall from height.
A woman in her 20s was found unconscious at around 9.35am in Churchyard Row in Southwark.
The London Ambulance Service was also called to the scene, but despite best efforts from emergency services, the woman was sadly pronounced dead.

The police said the incident is not being treated as suspicious and that they are working to inform her next-of-kin.
No further details have been released surrounding the circumstances of the woman’s death.
Her death comes just months after a family of three lost their lives at the UNCLE tower building - believed to be the same high-rise block, though this is yet to be confirmed by authorities.
Aditi Vijay Paralkar, 46, Rakesh Narayan Pai, 47, and their nine-year-old son, Sid Pai Paralkar, all plunged to their death after falling from the UNCLE building in May.

It was reported at the time that the young boy was “seriously-ill” with kidney disease.
According to the Daily Mail, he was partially disabled and suffered from learning difficulties.
The family lived on the 36th floor of the 46-storey building when they fell.
The UNCLE building in south London, known as Highpoint, is a luxury block of high-rise apartments. It is among the tallest residential buildings in the capital.
