Police seize millions of shekels' worth of drugs in separate West Bank, Jerusalem area raids

The first raid took place in Area A, after Palestinian police officers caught a 48-year-old Israeli in Bethlehem who possessed a large amount of pills suspected to be drugs.

Israel Police seized millions of shekels' worth of drugs in two separate raids on drug trafficking centers in the Jerusalem area and Area A of the West Bank, the police announced on Tuesday.

The first raid took place in Area A of the West Bank, after Palestinian police officers caught a 48-year-old Israeli in Bethlehem who possessed a large amount of pills suspected to be drugs, along with other hazardous substances.

Subsequent to his capture, Israel Police coordinated with the Palestinian police and raided the suspect's home in the Bedouin town of Segev Shalom. 

During the raid, the suspect was arrested, and his vehicle was seized along with over 17 thousand Tramadol tablets and over 170 thousand Captagon tablets.

The total value of the drugs seized was over 10 million shekels.

Police seize 90m. shekels' worth of cocaine, ecstasy, MDMA, ketamine

The police also raided a drug distribution site in Moshav Ahisamakh in the Jerusalem area, they announced.

During the raid, a vehicle was seized containing a large amount of drugs, including cocaine, ecstasy, MDMA, and ketamine, with a total value of approximately 90 million shekels.

The police also said that they had arrested three suspects, all in their 20s, for their alleged involvement in the drug distribution operation.
