Cebu Institute of Technology University grad tops civil engineers licensure exam

A graduate of Cebu Institute of Technology University emerged as the top passer in the licensure examination for civil engineers given in September 2026, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said.

According to the PRC, 6,337 out of 17,062 passed the exam given by the Board of Civil Engineering in 19 testing centers all over the Philippines.

The results of the examination with respect to eight examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations, the PRC said.

The successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places are the following:

Meanwhile, the top performing schools with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80 percent passing percentage are the following:

University of the Philippines-Los Banos (75 of 75 examinees, 100%)

De La Salle University - Manila (71 of 86 examinees, 82.56%)

University of Pangasinan (104 of 127 examinees, 81.89%)

Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta (58 of 71 examinees, 81.69%)

Tarlac State University-Tarlac College of Tech. (58 of 71 examinees, 81.69%)
