Anthea Turner, 66, shows off the results of her non-surgical facelift in a before and after shoot

Anthea Turner has revealed the impressive results of her non-surgical facelift, after struggling with her confidence about her ageing appearance.
The former GMTV presenter, 66, has revealed the outcome of the aesthetic treatment, joking that some bus drivers have stopped her using her Freedom Pass after beginning to doubt her age.
She said: 'Since having these aesthetic treatments there have been quite a few occasions when I try to use my Freedom Pass and the bus driver asks,'You're not, are you?' and I have to persuade them that I am indeed 66-years-old!'
Anthea signed up for a series of six monthly Focus Dual treatments, one of the most advanced facial rejuvenation treatments on the market.
The system uses the latest micro-needling and radio frequency technology to significantly boost the youthful appearance of skin.
Prior to having the treatments Anthea admitted that she was starting to feel less confident about her appearance and was particularly conscious of loose skin on her neck and jawline.

She revealed: 'I think you get to an age where you suddenly stand in front of the mirror and start pulling your skin tighter around your face.'
Grabbing the top of her neck with her hand, and pushing it back to make her jawline and neck look sharper, she added: 'I don't have a girlfriend of mine in my age group who doesn't do that, and you go, oh, that would look nice.'
At the beginning of this year, Anthea decided to take action and went to her local aesthetic clinic, Bodyvie in Richmond, and asked for advice on the best new non-surgical treatments.
'I had done some research and looked into all the aesthetic possibilities and there are many, many out there, so I took some advice at Bodyvie and for my skin and age they recommended the Focus Dual by Lynton treatments.
'I wanted something that was safe, effective and very little downtime.
'They said they had got some amazing results for their clients with this system and that the results looked really natural, which was important to me because I really didn't want to come out of this looking like I'd had work done on my face. It was a no-brainer really.'
For her treatment plan, Anthea and her clinician opted for a cautious, progressive strategy. 'We decided that the best thing to do was slow and low. I don't want to lose the plumpness that I already have in my face, that I've held on to.
'I wanted to primarily look after my skin. If you look after your skin, everything glows, everything looks great, and that's the approach we went for, and I have got exactly what I wanted.'

Each session takes about an hour to complete. Before the procedure began, a numbing cream was applied to her face, ensuring the experience was comfortable
Addressing the pain, Anthea noted: 'I don't really think it hurts at all. You have numbing cream, so hardly feel anything. On a scale of one to ten, where does it come? Maybe a three, if that.'
The minimal recovery time was a crucial factor for Anthea's demanding schedule.
'I have very little time in my life to have downtime, and so one of the things that I was looking for was something that had minimal downtime, and Focus Dual absolutely does,' Anthea shared.
'I would say that if I had a procedure at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, by the next day, maybe I would look a little bit pink, but nothing that I couldn't hide with make-up and go out.'
She had six monthly full face and neck treatments which cost £500 per session, but several clinics in the UK offer a series of six treatments for less than £2,500, which Anthea views as a highly worthwhile investment in her confidence and appearance.
She now intends to keep up with a Focus Dual maintenance treatment every three to four months.
The results have far exceeded her expectations, particularly in the areas that concerned her most.
'The fact is that when you start using the Focus Dual not only do you get a much tighter jaw, you get a better quality of skin on your neck, and your neck has got very thin skin on it,' she said.
'I've noticed people have said to me, 'Oh, your skin looks good.' and I go I've had Focus Dual and then they want to know more about it. And want that.'
Anthea was visibly amazed when looking at her before and after photographs for the first time. 'Gosh, this is the first time I've seen these pictures.
'This is me eight months ago, and me now. My goodness me, I can see a difference. I definitely can. You see, again, you know, it's the quality of the skin. Look after your skin. Really, really important.'
She also noted the positive impact on her facial structure. 'Keeping my volume was actually very important to me. Tightening the skin on my whole face, it's made a difference to my apples and eyes. Gosh, that's a task. Well, I never.'
Looking back on her journey, Anthea said she is thrilled she took the plunge and encourages others to commit to a full course of treatment rather than expecting instant miracles from a single session.
'I think that up until probably your mid to late 40s, you don't really notice a huge amount. Everything seems to be going in the right direction, that's okay. And then all of a sudden, as you approach 50 and beyond, you do notice changes,' she observed.
'We are losing collagen. You don't really notice it for a while and then you really do. I would like to think, really, that what the Focus Dual has done for me, and because I committed to a course, and this is really, really important, and I impress upon my friends, if you're going to do this, don't waste your money having three and then go, ''Oh no, I'm not going to have any more because I don't think it's doing anything.''
'You do the course. And even when you've done the course, it carries on improving.'
In April, Anthea revealed she had postponed her wedding to Mark Armstrong for a fourth time because she's undergoing renovations at her home.
The TV presenter and Mark got engaged in Rome, Italy, in September 2019 following a two-month romance and have previously postponed their nuptials due to the death of their mothers and the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic.
Anthea, who recently suffered a 'nightmare' injury, has now revealed she is pushing back saying "I do" again as the couple have just started renovations of their lounge.
Speaking to Woman's Own magazine, she said: 'We need to sort it out, and we absolutely will, but we've got a lounge renovation that's just about starting.
'We're not together because we want to breed or because it's the only way we can buy a house. We're together because he is my go-to, he's my best friend, he's my everything.
'I can't think of anybody I would prefer to be snuggling up to at night. I am truly blessed that we found each other.'
