Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger is coming to streaming platforms with unseen footage

If you didn’t catch Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger in cinemas, the documentary will soon be available to watch at home. The film’s release coincided with the Britpop legends’ announcement of a 2027 world tour. Days after going on staggered sale, tickets for their huge Oasis Live ’27 tour have officially sold out.

The acclaimed film follows the reunion of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. After its triumphant premiere at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, its theatrical release bought home £2.66 million alone during its opening weekend.

Now, a release date and streaming platform have been confirmed.

The reunion followed a long-standing feud between Liam and Noel after the band split in 2009 following an explosive row in Paris. For fans, their 2025 world tour was the greatest reunion in music history – and the concert film offers a chance to relive it.

The documentary’s creator and writer Steven Knight said: “We were [capturing] a very emotional story, about family, about two brothers. But also the effect their music is having on generations coming together in the stadium.”

The highly anticipated Oasis documentary, Don’t Look Back in Anger, will exclusively stream on Disney+ and Hulu, which has a standard subscription plan for £5.99 a month.

This news comes shortly after the announcement of their 2027 world tour, which begins in Glasgow in May next year. The 42-date tour sold out within just a few days of going on sale.

The documentary follows the reunion of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher on their sold-out tour, performing together for the first time in 15 years.

Directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace and scripted by BAFTA and Oscar-nominated Steven Knight – who has just been confirmed as the screenwriter for the next James Bond movie – the documentary features full performances and the first joint interview the brothers have done in over 20 years.

Viewers not only get full performances of Wonderwall and Slide Away, but other hit songs will feature for the first time. According to a social media post by Oasis, the version of the documentary that will arrive on Disney+ will include “exclusive unseen footage”.
