Celtic Throne returns to Israel for four-city November tour after 2025 run was cut short

Irish dance sensation Celtic Throne will return to Israel this November for a special four-city tour after their previous run ended early.

The internationally acclaimed troupe will bring their signature show, Mystery of Ireland, to stages across Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and Beersheba.

The production blends traditional and modern Irish dance with acrobatics, aerial feats, and martial arts. Backed by a live orchestra, the 55-member touring company features more than 30 dynamic dancers, including talented children and teenagers.

The performances are a full two-and-a-quarter-hour experience, including an intermission.

Celtic Throne returns to Israel

Celtic Throne initially arrived in Israel in the summer of 2025, marking one of the largest international productions to visit the country since October 7.

However, their highly anticipated tour came to an abrupt halt after just three performances due to the sudden outbreak of Operation Roaring Lion.

The war forced them the cancel all remaining dates. Stranded at the time, the troupe had to evacuate overland through Egypt before ultimately catching a flight home out of Sharm el-Sheikh.

Despite the harrowing exit, the group was determined to fulfill their promise to the local public. From the moment they had to cancel the tour, they said they knew they absolutely had to come back, band manager Brad McDonald explained.

McDonald said the intense experience only deepened the performers’ bond with Israel and fueled their desire to return. The connection runs so deep that lead dancer Jude Flurry reportedly started learning Hebrew following the previous visit.

The performances will begin on November 5 at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, followed by a show on November 9 at the Jerusalem Theatre. The tour will then head north to the Haifa Auditorium on November 12 before concluding on November 19 at the Beersheba Performing Arts Center.
