Ella Langley Cancels Tulsa Concert Following Bomb Threat: Report

Translate

Ella Langley has cancelled her concert scheduled for this evening (Friday, October 9th) at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, citing “a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team.”

The country singer announced the cancellation in a statement posted to social media shortly before showtime, explaining that the decision was made “under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team.”

According to Oklahoma’s News 9, Tulsa police received a bomb threat call, but a preliminary sweep of the venue by officers and K-9 units found no indication of a threat. Langley and BOK Center nonetheless decided to cancel the show, citing the safety of the fans and venue personnel.

“I know how much time, travel, money, and planning goes into coming to a show, and I can’t tell you how sorry I am. This is not a decision that was made lightly. I was so looking forward to spending tonight with you, but your safety will always mean more to me than anything else,” Langley said in her statement. “I refuse to put anyone in harm’s way.”

    This is a developing story…
