Arsenal injury update: Jurrien Timber, Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera latest news and potential return dates

Mikel Arteta is continuing to sweat over some key defensive injuries as Arsenal prepare to visit Brighton this weekend.
With that said, here is all the latest Arsenal injury news and potential return dates...
Jurrien Timber
Jurrien Timber was a surprise absentee from the team-sheet at Portman Road, but Arteta was quick to play down any concerns about a potential re-injury after the Dutchman spent months sidelined with a groin problem.
Speaking to Sky Sports pre-match, he confirmed the player had not suffered a setback in his recovery. Rather, he was simply being rested after playing almost an hour of football on his return to the pitch at the weekend.
He said: “No (he has not suffered a setback), everything is fine. He has played much more than we wanted. The other day (vs Sunderland) he had 53 minutes after five months out. We need to look after him.”
Potential return date: September 19 vs Brighton (A)

Ben White
Ben White missed the trip to Ipswich after coming off at half-time of the Sunderland match, where it was confirmed he had suffered a muscular injury.
No clear update has been given on his condition, and it remains to be seen when he might return to the pitch.
Arteta will be expected to give an update this week when he previews the trip to face Brighton.

Piero Hincapie
Compounding Arsenal’s defensive headaches against Ipswich was the absence of Piero Hincapie.
The Ecuadorian defender had no known injury coming into the match and it is not clear whether his exclusion was for sporting or fitness reasons.
Speaking pre-match, Arteta suggested it could be down to management or a niggle.
Asked to explain his selection, he said: "Well, with some players they were carrying some fatigue, some players who have real issues who we have to look after, and other players who are available, who are fresh and in better conditions to play.”

Cristhian Mosquera
Cristhian Mosquera has now missed five Arsenal matches with a muscular injury suffered against Aston Villa.
Arteta suggested last week he could be fit in time to face Ipswich, but he was nowhere to be seen as the Gunners arrived in Suffolk.
He will hope to return for this weekend’s meeting with Brighton, though Arteta may opt against risking him ahead of the international break.

William Saliba
William Saliba remains in recovery from a long-standing back injury which intensified during the World Cup.
The Frenchman has returned to Colney for a period of rehabilitation, with the club confirming he will not undergo surgery.
Arteta has said: “We don’t really know the amount of weeks Wilo [Saliba] is going to be out because it’s about a healing process and everything is a bit different - we know we have to respect certain timings.
“The progression has been really positive in the last few weeks, but we need to wait and see how that one reacts when we start to put some load into it.”
