Sri Lanka beat Pakistan by four wickets in the second semifinal of the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup on Friday at the Dubai International Stadium.
With this win, the Lankans kept their title defence alive and set up a rematch of the 2024 summit clash against India. In the previous edition, Sri Lanka had beaten India to lift its maiden Asia Cup title.
A 69-run partnership between Harshitha Samarawickrama and Kavisha Dilhari set the base for a 131-run chase, before Nilakshi de Silva and Kaushani Nuthyangana stayed till the end to ensure the win.

Pakistan captain Fatima Sana once again shone with the ball, taking four wickets and momentarily wresting momentum back in her side’s favour, but the defending champion chased down the total with eight balls to spare.
Earlier, Sana also contributed with the bat, hitting an unbeaten 47 to help Pakistan crawl to 130 for five in 20 overs, but the total ended up not being enough.
