Shiksha Arora Reveals KSh50,079 M-Pesa Balance, Names Lamborghini Urus as Dream Car
Television presenter Shiksha Arora has offered fans a glimpse into her personal preferences, financial habits and dream car during a quickfire interview with Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi.
The fast-paced exchange saw the TV personality explain why she has no tattoos, reveal her M-Pesa balance on camera and discuss the luxury vehicles she hopes to own.
Why Shiksha Arora Has No Tattoos
When asked about body art, Arora confirmed that she had never had a tattoo, using a luxury car analogy to explain her decision to remain ink-free.
“I don’t have any tattoos on my body. A Bentley doesn’t need stickers,” she said.
Her response suggested that she prefers to keep her appearance natural, reflecting her personal taste and public image as a television presenter.
Shiksha Reveals Her M-Pesa Balance
The interview took another turn when Musyimi challenged Arora to disclose how much money she had in her M-Pesa account.
The presenter accepted the challenge, checking her mobile wallet during the recording before revealing the amount.
“Let me check my M-Pesa right now. I have fifty thousand and 79 shillings,” she said.
Arora’s disclosed balance was KSh50,079, offering viewers an unusual glimpse into her mobile money account during the informal interview.
From BMW to Lamborghini Urus
Arora also opened up about her taste in cars, revealing that she had long admired German luxury vehicles.
She initially named a BMW as her dream car but explained that she was already driving one, prompting her to consider other options.
“My dream car, I’d say a BMW, but now I have a BMW which I’m driving, so now maybe a G-wagon at some point, I know it’s cliché… oooh wait, I know one. A Lamborghini Urus,” she said.
Arora owns a 2019 BMW X3 M40d, a luxury crossover powered by German engineering. Market estimates place the vehicle’s value at approximately KSh5 million.
Her mention of the Lamborghini Urus suggests that the high-performance luxury SUV is among the vehicles she would like to own in the future.
From Microbiology to Television News
Arora’s journey into broadcasting followed an unconventional path. She initially pursued a degree in microbiology and biotechnology before switching direction to study media in the United Kingdom.
She began her broadcasting career in radio at East FM before transitioning to television news at K24 TV. She later joined the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), where she presented the Easy Friday bulletin.
In 2024, Arora joined TV47, where she took on entertainment programming, including Tribe 47.
Beyond television, she has continued to build her public profile through dance content and community-focused humanitarian campaigns across Kenya.
