New Zealand batter Glenn Phillips continued his rich vein of form as he scored his third T20I century against India in the fourth T20I at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday.

Phillips reached the landmark off just 46 balls and became only the second New Zealand player after Colin Munro to score a T20I century against India. Munro scored his century in 2017 in Rajkot.

Phillips has been on a purple patch since the start of the series.

In the first game, the middle-order batter scored an unbeaten 82 off 40 balls before he followed it up with a 43-ball 70 in the second T20I. Unfortunately for him, his twin efforts went in vain as India emerged victorious on both occasions and sealed the series 3-0.

The 29-year-old was eventually dismissed for 107 off 49 balls, including six fours and ten sixes. His knock helped New Zealand amass 259/7 and put it in a strong position to secure its first win of the series.
