Karatekas clinch men's team kata bronze
TOYOHASHI: National exponents claimed bronze in the men's team kata event at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Wednesday.
Malaysia defeated Vietnam 3-2 in the bronze medal playoff at the Toyohashi Gymnasium.
The national team had earlier lost to Kuwait in the semi-finals. Malaysia received a bye for the quarter-finals.
Hong Kong claimed the other bronze medal after downing Taiwan in their playoff.
