Amber Ray reveals cosmetic transformation is not over, plans double-chin procedure

Kenyan socialite and content creator Amber Ray has revealed that her cosmetic transformation is not yet complete, despite recently undergoing several procedures in Turkey.

Speaking at Natalie Githinji’s Endometriosis Warriors event at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Sunday, September 27, Amber said she still intends to undergo a procedure to reduce her double chin.

She explained that the procedure has been postponed because her doctor advised her against undergoing several surgeries within a short period.

“I still want to do my double chin. I wanted to do it, but the doctor told me he can’t do many surgeries at the same time, so my body needs to be given a break,” she said.

Amber said she would consider undergoing the procedure once her body has fully recovered.

“So yeah, if I get a chance, I’ll do my double chin. Only that,” she added.

Amber’s Turkey transformation

Amber travelled to Turkey in September, where she underwent several cosmetic procedures and documented parts of her experience for her social media followers.

Her initial plan included breast augmentation and Lipo 360, a liposuction procedure targeting fat around the midsection.

She later agreed to have fat transferred to her calves after her doctor recommended the additional procedure.

“Go yes… boobs, Lipo 360, and calves,” Amber previously said while explaining the procedures she had chosen.

Despite undergoing three procedures, the influencer said her recovery was smoother than she had expected.

“Good morning, world. Waking up feeling grateful because imagine doing 3 surgeries at once and my recovery has been this smooth!” she said in an earlier update.

She also underwent extensive dental work

Amber’s transformation extended beyond cosmetic body procedures.

During her time in Turkey, she also underwent extensive dental treatment, revealing that she was having 21 teeth worked on.

She said each tooth cost approximately KSh44,000, putting the estimated total cost of the dental work at about KSh924,000.

“Well, 1 tooth is around 44k, and I’m doing 21 teeth,” she said.

The dental treatment became another significant part of the transformation she documented online alongside her cosmetic procedures.

Amber changes lifestyle during recovery

Following the surgeries, Amber also made changes to her lifestyle to give her body time to heal.

She revealed that she temporarily stopped drinking alcohol after receiving medical advice to allow her body to recover.

“So I had to stop. So for a month I’ve not been drinking. Not a month, I think three weeks sasa. Three weeks, yeah. And it’s a month next week,” she said.

Amber also said she had been paying closer attention to her diet during her recovery, noting that what she eats could affect her healing and progress.
