Asian Games 2026: India wins silver medal in 10m Air Rifle men’s team event

India’s Himanshu Dhillon, Parth Mane, Rudrankksh Patil combined to win the silver medal in the 10m Air Rifle Men’s Team event at the Asian Games 2026 on Monday.

The Indian trio aggregated 1890.1 points to finish behind China’s Sheng Lihao, Ma Sihan and Zhang Changhong, who totalled 1899.0 (Qualification World Record) at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery.

Rudrankksh and Dhillon also qualified for the Individual Final, which will happen later in the day.

While Rudrankksh finished third with a score of 631.8, Dhillon ended seventh with 630.0 points. Mane totalled 628.3 points and was placed 10th.

Lihao led the pack with 635.4 points, an Asian Games Qualification Record. Sihan finished second with 633.0, while Changhong was fifth with 630.6.

Despite finishing inside the top eight, Changhong failed to make the cut, as only two shooters from the same county can appear in the final.
