AKPS officer’s husband charged with her murder

Translate

The husband of the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency officer found dead at a public housing complex in Nilai has been charged at the Seremban magistrates’ court with her murder.

The charge, under Section 302 of the Penal Code, was read out to Khairudin Safi’ai, 39, before magistrate Nurul Saqinah Rosli this morning, Utusan Malaysia reported.

No plea was recorded as murder cases fall under the jurisdiction of the High Court.

Khairudin is accused of murdering Norhazwani Ibrahim, 35, at their home at Block 6 of the KLIA civil servants’ housing complex in Nilai at about 7pm on Oct 15.

The prosecution was conducted by deputy public prosecutor Farah Wahidah Sarip.

The court fixed Dec 22 for case mention and the submission of the post-mortem report.

Norhazwani’s eldest brother, Amran Ibrahim, 59, was also present to follow the proceedings.
