Connor Storrie Circling Role In Marvel’s ‘Ghost Rider’ Opposite Ryan Gosling

Connor Storrie is circling a role opposite Ryan Gosling in Marvel Studios‘ Ghost Rider, sources have confirmed to Deadline.
Reps for Marvel declined to comment. There’s word yet on the role to be played by Storrie. Reuniting Gosling with his Star Wars: Starfighter director Shawn Levy and that film’s writer, Jonathan Tropper, the comic book movie is slated for release on July 28, 2028. Marvel dropped the bombshell of its announcement at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, with production slated for 2027.
Storrie has broken out as one of the buzziest names of the moment with Heated Rivalry, Crave/HBO Max’s queer hockey romance based on the Game Changers book series by Rachel Reid, where he stars opposite Hudson Williams. The show is presently heading into its second season.
Since the show’s November 2025 debut, Storrie has had his pick of projects. Others upcoming for him include Craig Zobel’s thriller Turpentine opposite Melissa McCarthy, A24’s Please from Halina Reijn and Peaked from Molly Gordon, and Sarah Polley’s The Bell Jar for Focus Features. Notably, following his Heated Rivalry breakout, he also won an Emmy for a hosting appearance on Saturday Night Live.
