NSTP retains Allianz Media Badminton title

KUALA LUMPUR: New Straits Times (NST) continued its dominance by clinching the Allianz Media Badminton Championship title this year after defeating Sin Chew Daily 2-1.

The victory saw NSTP claim its fourth Allianz Media Badminton title since the tournament was introduced in 2019.

Sin Chew Daily finished runners-up, while Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) took third place.

The Plate title went to Harian Metro after they defeated Bernama.

The 2026 Allianz Media Badminton Championship featured 12 media teams from various organisations, including NSTP, Harian Metro, China Press and Astro.

Each team competed in two men's doubles and one mixed doubles event.
