Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: Men's doubles scratch pair Aaron Tai-Yap Roy King continued their giant-killing run as they stormed into the Arctic Open final in Finland on Saturday.

Aaron-Roy King, who are making their World Tour debut as a pair, secured a convincing 21-14, 21-16 win over Denmark's world No. 32 Christian Faust Kjaer-Rasmus Kjaer in a 37-minute semi-final clash.

Aaron and Roy King, whose regular partners are Kang Khai Xing and Wan Arif Junaidi respectively, are part of a reshuffle experiment conducted by men's doubles chief coach Herry IP.

They will face either world No. 56 Julien Maio-William Villeger or Taiwan's world No. 60 Lai Po Yu-Tsai Fu Cheng in Sunday's title showdown.
