Grupo Renault invertirá más de 10 mil millones de euros en Francia durante los próximos cinco años para desarrollar vehículos eléctricos y automóviles más asequibles, anunció ayer el presidente ejecutivo de la compañía, François Provost. “En los últimos cinco años, hemos invertido 13 mil millones de euros en Francia para transformar por completo nuestra presencia industrial y apostar por la electricidad”, dijo Provost. Los autos eléctricos alcanzaron en septiembre un récord de 42 por ciento de las matriculaciones de vehículos nuevos en Francia, debido al encarecimiento de los combustibles.
